I’m the newly elected Dutchess County Legislator for District 25, representing the towns of Amenia, Millbrook, Washington, and Pleasant Valley.

Last year we flipped my seat, defeating the Majority Leader of the Republican Caucus, and took a Democratic Majority in the Dutchess County legislature for the first time in decades. And we are already seeing the results with new urgency around addressing the EMS crisis in our rural towns, a unanimous resolution opposing the proposed ICE mass detention center across the river, and $7,000,000 flowing into building new housing.

Since being sworn into the legislature, I have been appointed Chair of the Public Safety Committee, with oversight of the District Attorney, Sheriff and Fire Departments in Dutchess County.
